Josh Kahn, Graduate Teaching Fellowship
Josh Kahn is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership at the University of Oregon. He received his M.S.Ed in Elementary Education from Mercy College as part of his participation in the New York City Teaching Fellows where he taught special education in the Bronx, NY.
Prior to joining BRT, Josh has been a middle school English teacher and a special education teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school level, working with students with both high- and low-incidence disabilities.
His primary research interests include:
1. teacher instructional decision-making,
2. applying insights from cognitive psychology to administrative decision-making, and
3. leveraging various problem-solving models.
